Positive: Lovely older style house that has been devised into two apartments. Lounge and bedroom were spacious, comfortable bed.
Negative: There is no off street parking. The streets are tight, which makes on-street parking problematic for moderately sized vehicles. The kitchen has everything you need for a short stay, but it is tight. The bathroom needs a serious uplift. Looks like some renovations have been done (e.g. replacement of toilet pan), but the wall behind has not been repainted leaving the size difference obvious. Flooring in bathroom needs updating. Main issue though was the flagstones out the front. We arrived on a day when there had been light rain prior. I slipped and fell heavily on the flagstones … they should have been cleaned more regularly to prevent the build up of the slippery surface. Thee is a private outdoor area outside the kitchen with clothes line … but there has been no apparent attempt to landscape or make it an attractive place to spend any time.
Summary: Lovely house in a great location, but needs some maintenance and updating in the bathroom.
